Hendricks County Test Net Saturday, July 25, 2009

Hello, all. This to remind you that I will be conducting the second Hendricks County Emergency Communications multi-frequency test net on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 11:00 am. The previous net lasted about an hour and 10 minutes. I will conduct the first three phases of the test from the Hendricks Co. EOC in the Government Center in Danville. I will then take a short standby to go mobile and progress to high ground a short distance from the EOC for the rest of the test. Please try to have a way to monitor the 147.165 repeater throughout the test, as we will use it for coordination throughout the test and I will report stations I have heard and checked in for the four simplex frequencies on the repeater as well. That should help avoid some confusion that was created last time. Relays on simplex will be appreciated again this time. Instructions for the next portion of the test will be given over the 147.165 repeater, as will wrap-up comments at the end. The test will proceed as follows:
1. 147.165 repeater
2. 147.450 simplex
3. 442.9 repeater
4. 223.420 simplex
5. 52.510 simplex
6. 29.610 simplex
Results will be posted on this website within a few days of the test. All Hendricks County stations are welcome and encouraged to participate on as many bands and frequencies as they can. And thank you for working to be prepared to help the citizens of Hendricks County.
